JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Evergy Missouri West, formerly known as KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company, is proposing new changes to benefit its residential customers.
In a request to the Missouri Public Service Commission, Evergy wishes to adjust the fuel adjustment charge (FAC) on the bills of its customers.
According to the filing, a customer using more than 1,000 kilowatts of power can save $3.20 a month with the proposed changes to the FAC.
The proposed change would take effect in March 2020. Evergy provides electric services to approximately 334,000 customers around the Missouri area.
